Kaitlyn & Joshua got married at Cedarmere Farm in the blue ridge mountains of Virginia in September, 2025. When they first reached out to me, they told me they were planning their wedding pretty untraditionally to most weddings these days. LOTS of color, disco balls, velvet, “lucky in love” theme meets retro with jewel tones and lots of fun. They wanted their photos to "reflect the happiness and color and love of the day." They love the look of film photography and told me they had keeping a photo album of disposable film camera prints taken over the course of their relationship. I was so excited to incorporate film photography into their wedding documentation.

Cedarmere in the Blue Ridge is such an incredible wedding venue. Christa, the owner and genius behind Cedarmere, grew all of the flowers used in this wedding herself. The florals were truly stunning and unique, I loved the way they contrasted with the backdrop of the ceremony.
