At Home Newly Wed Portraits in Richmond, Virginia | Couple Photographer RVA

Brenna & Nick eloped at Libby Hill Park in Richmond, Virginia in the midst of July 2023. Shortly after, they invited me over to their home to take some quick and casual portraits to celebrate! We started off our time together with Nick showing Brenna her ring that had just came in. It was a really special moment that they wanted documented and I was so honored to do so! At the time of this session, I was in the process of introducing film into my client work, so I was happy to include some in their gallery! I LOVE photographing my couples and families in their homes. We don't need a huge fancy venue or a spotless clean and perfect house to make magical photos that will last the test of time. Photographing people in their homes opens up a certain level of comfort and uniqueness that really shows in the photos. For family and/or couples photography, I love to recommend finishing the session at home. Let me come back to your place with you and unwind! Maybe open a bottle of wine, put on your favorite records, cuddle with your dog, etc. Let's get comfy and intimate so our photos can feel the same. :)<3
