Engagement photos at Forest Hill Park and at home in Richmond, Virginia for Carrie and Jake

When I'm photographing couples, I love to recommend splitting the session up into two locations to make the process feel like an adventure and a date! I love meeting up with my couples somewhere in nature, then going back to their home for a more intimate feel. I really wanted some ethereal earthy vibes for the first half of our session then more slice of life vibes for the second half. I always want to make sure we have a range of photos that can hopefully tell the story of the day you celebrated your engagement by putting yourself outside of your comfort zone and hanging out with your new photographer friend!!
